Attending the building dedication was a great honor to my father and me. Meeting some more of the men that my father served with made this even more an honor and meaningful. For me, as I said that day, this was for all the black soldiers - especially those tankers and cav guys of today and yester-year and before - the Buffalo Soldiers and our first black armored hero Hannibal.
