    Oct 14, 2006 RIP Army 1st Sgt. Charles M. King, 48, Mobile, Ala.; died Saturday from injuries sustained when an explosive detonated near his vehicle in Baghdad; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

    We just learned that our good friend 1SG Charles M. King who was a big fan of the 761st as you can see with his excellent artwork was killed serving his 3rd tour in Iraq. Killed 10/14/06 in Baghdad. May he rest in peace. Love to his family and friends.
