The Citation appearing here is not
authentic. The sentence beginning
"Crewmen..." should read: "Crewmen
dismounted the disabled tanks, crawled
under them with their 50 caliber weapons, and placed withering fire upon
the enemy positions." (See Army General
Order No.5, signed by President Carter on 24 January 1978).
